Ella Jardine is the daughter of Brian and Kristen Jardine. Ella is taking
advantage of the academic offerings at North Pocono having taken 10 AP
credit classes and multiple dual enrollment classes during her high school
career. She has been in the National Honor society for the past 3 years and
has maintained High Honors every quarter at North Pocono High School.
She is President of the senior class and has been a class officer since 7th
grade. Ella is a 4 year member of the tennis team and is a current captain.
She is also the president of the interact club, a chair in the prom committee,
and a SADD club officer. In addition to this, she is a member of the Red
Cross club, Tru, Environmental club, MUN, Mock Trial, Buddies club, Mini
thon club, FBLA, and period club. She has gone to the Hugh O Brien
leadership conference as an ambassador and returned the next year as a
volunteer. She has received the Presidential Community Service Award for
volunteering 164 hours of community service in one year. She was also a
recipient of the Bishops Youth Award. Ella attends St. Eulalia's parish
where she volunteers at soup kitchens, festivals, and teaches CCD. She is
also an altar server and a youth group member. She works at the Tasty
Swirl and is a babysitter. Ella is still undecided as to where she will attend
college, but plans to major in Public Policy and Advocacy and hopes of
becoming a lawyer.
Allison Rocco is the daughter of Nicholas and Adeline Rocco. Allison is
currently taking 6 AP classes, including Physics 2, English Literature,
Chemistry, Computer Science A, Calculus AB, and Psychology. Allison has
received high honors each quarter since freshman year, remaining in the
top 1% of her class. She is also an AP Scholar with Distinction. Outside of
academics, Allison is involved in student council and student mental health
advocacy. As a sophomore, Allison traveled with 61 other students from
around the world to partake in the FBI’s Youth Leadership Program. Since
then, Allison has served on the Pennsylvania Association of Student
Council’s executive board for two years, chairing the diversity committee.
Allison currently serves on the National Student Advisory Council for
Work2BeWell, a student mental health advocacy organization. In the high
school, Allison is also the executive president of student council. She plans
on continuing Mental Health Awareness Week and adding more wellness
education opportunities throughout the year. She has become the first
Distinguished Student Leader of Excellence in Pennsylvania and is
currently working towards becoming a nationally recognized student leader.
She is also a member of the varsity rifle team and currently works at St.
Mary’s Villa as a dietary aide. She plans on pursuing computer science in
college in hopes of becoming a cyber security specialist.
Eileen Posluszny is the daughter of Dave and Maureen Posluszny. Eileen
is focusing on preparing for her after high school years by forgoing classes
tailored to her future occupation. These classes include, Human
Physiology, Introduction to Law, and the Protective Services program at the
Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County. Eileen is a part of the
Girls Lacrosse team and the Girls Volleyball team for 4 years and
participates in the Red Cross Club. Eileen has been a Student Ambassador
for the Career Technology Center for two years and actively involves
herself in the community by volunteering at food pantries and church
events. She is currently employed by Montage Mountain Resorts. After
graduation, Eileen is to enlist in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard as
a Combat Medic and further her education at Wilkes University or Moravian
University majoring in nursing and hopes to become a trauma nurse.
