Ciara Bates is currently in her sophomore year of high school. She was born in Cape May, New Jersey, and was raised in Clearwater, Florida. In 2017, Ciara and her family moved to Pennsylvania after deciding they needed a change of scenery. She came into the North Pocono School District when she was just 8-years-old. Throughout her years of school she realized how lucky she was to be in this district. Ciara wants to take on interior designing for her future. She has a great passion for organizing and decorating, but of course if all else fails then she hopes to become a news reporter. Joining Journalism this year really helped her with her passion for writing. She believes that she is the best she's ever been at writing. Hopefully she will be able to make her dreams come true, as she will work hard.
